About The Designers

Telle M. Stein is the creative powerhouse behind The Stone Bunny. She was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi and came to Atlanta after finishing college at Mississippi State College for Women with a degree in art. Originally, she came to Atlanta to teach art to elementary students and live in a new city. She had no idea what was about to unfold for her during the next 30 years of her life as a co-founder/creator of The Stone Bunny.

Her gift and love of art showed itself at an early age. Since she could walk and almost before she could talk she was going down to the Cyprus sleuths on the banks of the Mississippi and digging out the black clay there to make tiny horse sculptures. She has always had a fondness for plants and animals, especially horses. Her favorite pastimes are horse back riding with her children, gardening, and dance.

Vance

Vance Stein is the business brains behind The Stone Bunny. Born in San Francisco, California he got his degree in industrial management at Georgia Tech University. He always had a flair for travel and entrepreneurial endeavors, and studied abroad in Scotland and worked in London for a time. His favorite pastimes are cycling, running and swimming. Despite his busy schedule he always finds time to work out, do triathlons, and hang with his children.
